About The Trip

October 11th, 2026

Banda Sea via the New White Manta Liveaboard

Cost: $4,225 per person

About the Trip:

On October 11^th, 2026 we will board New White Manta. We will be onboard for a 7 night trip, disembarking on October 18^th in Ambon. Our itinerary will take us, among other sites, to the Banda islands, the volcanic Ring of Fire near Maluku island and the Hukurila caves. We will experience 18 stunning dives with large and small marine life. I’m particularly excited to see the schooling scalloped hammerheads, sea snakes, and our beloved mantas while keeping an eye out for unique species such as the blue-ringed octopus, Ambon scorpionfish and pygmy seahorses.

We have a bunch of videos on the 3FDiving YouTube channel.

To arrive, we will be flying to Ambon via Jakarta, arriving on or before October 10^th and will depart back to Jakarta on the 18^th. Stay tuned on options for arriving in Ambon prior to October 10^th as well as extending your trip with a Cambodia ruins adventure after we disembark.

Pricing is $3,775 per person for the time on the New White Manta live aboard. We also collect $250 in port fees and $200 for fuel surcharge…these are called out separately as the boat can adjust these but they typically hold them constant. Total price with port and fuel fees is $4,225 per person.

Liveaboard diving is, by far the best way to dive. While experiencing the local culture on the boat, with amazing cuisine and white glove service from morning to night. Each day we usually get in 3 dives with surface intervals consisting of fueling our bodies with delicious meals, napping and working on photos/vids. These boats are exceptional in that they have a dedicated camera room which makes it so nice to not have all your camera stuff spread across your cabin. We can’t wait for this trip and diving with so many great friends…would love to add you to the list!
